Ukraine's President Zelensky Addresses Davos Forum

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has said there are no accidents at war time after 14 people died in a helicopter crash in the capital, Kyiv.

Ukraine has not claimed Russian involvement, but Mr Zelensky told the World Economic Forum in Davos the tragedy was a consequence of the war.

Interior Minister Denys Monastyrsky died, alongside several colleagues.

Mr Zelensky also urged allies to quickly send more weapons before new Russian offensives.

Berlin has reportedly been unwilling to send the vehicles unless the US commits to providing its own Abrams battle tanks.

2023: El-Rufai Accuses Cabals In Aso Rock Of Working Against Tinubu, APC

  By Our Reporter  The Kaduna state Governor Nasir El-Rufai has accused some top government functionaries in Aso Rock of working against Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, (APC). Although he did not disclose the names of those involved, El-Rufai said that those working against Tinubu were aggrieved that Tinubu defeated their candidate in the APC presidential primaries, and that these elements were hiding behind President Muhammadu Buhari’s desire to do what he thought was right. PETROAN FAULTS DSS, SAYS CABAL MUST BE HANDLED

  By Nkoyo Etim The Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) on Monday, faulted the 48-hour ultimatum issued by the Department of State Services (DSS) that oil marketers make Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) also known as petrol available for Nigerians. The Association said until the secret agents go after the cartel operating among private depot owners hoarding the essential commodity, fuel scarcity and long queues will persist.
