'OBASANJO AND CLARK'S ENDORSEMENT OF OBI INCONSEQUENTIAL - KEYAMO

By Collins Vershima

Festus Keyamo , the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress' Presidential Canditate

has come out to saying that, Obasanjo and Edwin Clark’s  support for Peter Obi is

inconsequential.

He contended that as in 2015 and 2019 elections, Clark and Obasanjo's support for

Jonathanand Atiku didnot stop Buhari the candidate of the APC from winning the elections.

Similarly, the presidential campaigns spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Sen. Dino Melaye in his reaction prayed that Obasanjo lives long to see  Atiku become the next President of Nigeria.

In the same vein  Shehu Garba, the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Buhari dismissed Obasanjo as a frustrated former President who  is jealous of  Buhari and all that APC has offered Nigeria in terms of good governance.

The Nigerian polity is being heated up by former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s letter  and endorsement of Peter Obi for President just as Chief Edwin Clerk  the leader of Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) endorsement of Obi  has rattled other presidential contenders.

Interestingly, keen onlookers are watching to see what the support for Peter Obi from Obasanjo, Chief Ayo Adebanjo and Edwin  Clerk  will bring.
