BUHARI SIGNS THE 2023 APPROPRIATION BILL INTO LAW

Nigeria's President Mohammadu Buhari has signed the 2023 transition budget this morning with the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and other members of the Federal Executive Council seated at the council chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Whilst speaking at the event, Mr. President disclosed that his administration would leave no stone unturned in order to fast track the implementation of  critical infrastructure projects nationwide before the last day of his second term in office which is May 29, 2023.

The approved budget is N21.83 trillion aggregate expenditure, an increase of N1.32 trillion over the initial executive proposal of N20.51 trillion.
