2023 Election: Tinubu Arrives Edo For APC Presidential Campaign Rally

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has arrived Benin City, the Edo State capital for the party’s campaign rally.

Kukuruku News gathered  that the APC presidential campaign rally is scheduled to take place today, January 5th, at the Sam Ogbemudia stadium, Benin City.

The APC flagbearer was accompanied by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and his Jagawa counterpart, Abubakar Badaru, alongside other APC national leaders.

Tinubu and his entourage were received by the former Governor of Edo State and Deputy Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Comrade Adams Oshiomole, and other Edo APC chieftains.

One Killed, Others Injured As Gunmen Attack INEC Office And Police Station In Anambra

  By Our Reporter    Gunmen early hours of Wednesday attacked the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, office in Ojoto, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State. The gunmen also attacked the Nnobi Police Station and a residential building within the station, located  in the Council Area. Eyewitness account  that the gun men, while shooting sporadically killed a 16-year-old boy, a relative of a serving policeman in the station, while the another victim, a 15-year-old female, sustained a gunshot injury and has been taken to the hospital where she is receiving treatment. Confirming the incident, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, said security had been reinforced in the areas, just as the situation is still being monitored.
