FG SUSPENDS COVID-19 TEST FOR TRAVELLERS

 The Federal Government has approved the immediate relaxation of the COVID-19 safety measures and travel advisory, including the suspension of all pre-departure, pre-boarding, and post-arrival PCR test requirements.

 This disclosure was made on Monday according to a statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19 (PSC), Boss Mustapha.

Boss Mustapha said, the President's approval follows the recommendations of the PSC based on clinical and laboratory evidence of a sustained reduction in COVID-19 infection/transmission across the country.

 The Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19 (PSC) passionately appeals to Nigerians to ensure that they take their COVID-19 vaccinations as well as booster doses. The statement reads.

INCESSANT ATTACKS ON INEC FACILITIES MAY MAR 2023 ELECTION---- OKOYE

  By Kunle Awoniyi The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) is gravely concerned about the incessant attacks on its facilities and said it could adversely affect the 2023 should it persist. INEC expressed worries that if attacks on its facilities persist till January 2023,it would affect the conduct of the general election. Chairman information and voter education committee Mr Festis OKOYE expressed the concern at a workshop on political violence and election security organised by national defence college in Abuja. Okoye who also is INEC national commissioner on publicity and voter education,expressed grave concern over cases in states where the attack took place including destruction of ballot boxes and other election materials as well as permanent voters card. NIGERIA’S JUDICIARY IS NOT TRULY INDEPENDENT-CJN

Speaking at a special session of the supreme court held to mark the beginning of the 2022/2023 legal year and swearing -in of 62 newly Conferred Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN),Ariwoola made the assertion on Monday November 28 as he disclosed that the Nigerian Judiciary is not truly independent assessing from the financial.
