FG GRANTS ACCESS TO NIGERIANS WITH EXPIRED PASSPORTS TO COUNTRY

 The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved that Nigerians returning home can be admitted into the country with their expired Nigerian Passports.

 This was contained in a circuar sited by Kukuruku News Reporter with the tittle, "AUTHORITY TO BOARD/ADMIT NIGERIANS WITH EXPIRED NIGERIA PASSPORTS".

 The Federal Government has therefore directed all airlines to allow holders of expired Nigerian Passport to board without hindrance.

INCESSANT ATTACKS ON INEC FACILITIES MAY MAR 2023 ELECTION---- OKOYE

  By Kunle Awoniyi The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) is gravely concerned about the incessant attacks on its facilities and said it could adversely affect the 2023 should it persist. INEC expressed worries that if attacks on its facilities persist till January 2023,it would affect the conduct of the general election. Chairman information and voter education committee Mr Festis OKOYE expressed the concern at a workshop on political violence and election security organised by national defence college in Abuja. Okoye who also is INEC national commissioner on publicity and voter education,expressed grave concern over cases in states where the attack took place including destruction of ballot boxes and other election materials as well as permanent voters card. NIGERIA’S JUDICIARY IS NOT TRULY INDEPENDENT-CJN

  By Nkoyo Etim       The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola laments on harsh economic realities having negative effects on the judiciary activities, stressing that the judiciary is not yet truly independent in Nigeria. Speaking at a special session of the supreme court held to mark the beginning of the 2022/2023 legal year and swearing -in of 62 newly Conferred Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN),Ariwoola made the assertion on Monday November 28 as he disclosed that the Nigerian Judiciary is not truly independent assessing from the financial.
