GUZAPE DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT TO BRING AESTHETICS & JOBS IN FCT

The Minister of the FCT, Muhammad Musa Bello has disclosed that Abuja's aesthetics would open up the Guzape District for the development of the area and provide direct and indirect jobs to many Nigerians. Musa Bello said this during a tour of engineering infrastructure projects by contractors in Guzape II District. 

Speaking at the end of the tour, Malam Bello expressed delight at the commencement of development of plots by owners especially in parts of the district where the contractor has provided infrastructure. 



The minister was on a facility tour to ascertain the progress of work and challenges at the Guzape II District by the contractors . He reassured the contractors that efforts will be made to overcome the challenges which include elements of encroachment along the road corridor.

He reminded the contractors that if they continue to deliver their work under global best practice, their impact would be printed in the sands of time as partners in the development of the FCT.

2023: El-Rufai Accuses Cabals In Aso Rock Of Working Against Tinubu, APC

One Killed, Others Injured As Gunmen Attack INEC Office And Police Station In Anambra

  By Our Reporter    Gunmen early hours of Wednesday attacked the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, office in Ojoto, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State. The gunmen also attacked the Nnobi Police Station and a residential building within the station, located  in the Council Area. Eyewitness account  that the gun men, while shooting sporadically killed a 16-year-old boy, a relative of a serving policeman in the station, while the another victim, a 15-year-old female, sustained a gunshot injury and has been taken to the hospital where she is receiving treatment. Confirming the incident, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, said security had been reinforced in the areas, just as the situation is still being monitored.
