TINUBU TO STOP FUEL SUBSIDY

The presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu has revealed his take on fuel subsidy removal ahead of 2023 presidential polls in February,stressing that if elected into office, he will put an end to fuel subsidies.

Tinubu in a statement made available to journalist through his media aide Bayo  Onanuga on Monday said subsidy has been abused by the rich and in turn causing havoc and distress for the poor.

He said, we all agreed that the subsidy regime is abused and it favors the rich more than the poor and it has to go.

SIX STATES JOSTLE FOR NSF 2024 HOSTING RIGHT..

According to a press release by the Director, Press and Public Relations , the Minister disclosed this today at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba, the Delta State Capital, shortly after watching the Gymnastics event between Team FCT, Delta and Ondo at the ongoing sports festival. One Killed, Others Injured As Gunmen Attack INEC Office And Police Station In Anambra

  By Our Reporter    Gunmen early hours of Wednesday attacked the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, office in Ojoto, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State. The gunmen also attacked the Nnobi Police Station and a residential building within the station, located  in the Council Area. Eyewitness account  that the gun men, while shooting sporadically killed a 16-year-old boy, a relative of a serving policeman in the station, while the another victim, a 15-year-old female, sustained a gunshot injury and has been taken to the hospital where she is receiving treatment. Confirming the incident, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, said security had been reinforced in the areas, just as the situation is still being monitored.
