Just In: Fire Outbreak At Defence Headquarters, No loss

The second floor of the Defence Headquarters, located in Garki, Abuja gutted fire on Monday afternoon.

The inferno whose cause was yet to be  known was confirmed by a statement made by the Director, Defence Information, Major-General Jimmy Akpor.

“The incident was brought under control with the combined effort of the military and Federal Fire Service personnel, all resources, personnel and civilian staff were evacuated without injury or loss of life.

“Accordingly, normalcy has returned. Investigation to determine the cause of the fire incident has commenced immediately.

“We thank the Federal Fire Service and the entire public for the continued support and goodwill to the Armed Forces of Nigeria,” a statement by the Defence Headquarters reads.

'DON'T DEPLOY SECURITY ASSETS TO MONITOR GOSSIPS -HURIWA TO BUHARI

2023: El-Rufai Accuses Cabals In Aso Rock Of Working Against Tinubu, APC
