FEAR GRIPS ABUJA AS BANDITS KILL ONE, ABDUCT YOUTH CORPS MEMBER, SEVEN OTHERS IN KUBWA

It seems like the abduction woes in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja is not going to rescind soon as residents now perpetually live in fear of being kidnapped from their homes by armed bandits.


According to reports which got to a Kukuruku News correspondent in Abuja, there was an horrific attack by heavily armed bandits on residents of the Extension 2 area of Arab road in Kubwa, on Tuesday Dec 6, 2022.


Residents in the area said the armed men got access through a popular hill in the area and they started shooting sporadically which scared away residents and caused pandemonium in the area.


However, two persons where allegedly hit by the bullets; killing one immediately who was identified as a popular tailor in the area, while the other who sustained wounds, was rushed to the hospital.




The gun men later abducted nine persons, including a youth Corper identified as Adenike, a lone child of her parents. Two person from the 9, narrowly escaped and they gave the report that 7 persons are still being held captive by the abductors.


After a successful operation, the bandits left the area with their abductees, through the hill in the area, into the dark where security operatives could not access them.


As at the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from the police or even the bandits.

'DON'T DEPLOY SECURITY ASSETS TO MONITOR GOSSIPS -HURIWA TO BUHARI
